  • What is Burning Man?
Burning Man is a week-long gathering in Nevada's Black Rock Desert that celebrates community, art, and self-expression. The event takes place August 24th to September 1st, 2025.
  • Why join Sockdrawer?
Sockdrawer is growing and evolving every year. We support our campers and what makes them unique. It's not about being seen, big name lineups, or competing with other camps. It's about us, bringing what we have, and sharing our love for bass while inspiring each other. Community matters to us and we strive to find ways to make it better every year. We value collaboration and want our campers to have a way to promote their own art and add their own contributions. Sockdrawer isn't just a camp - it is an evolving art piece, and we are all a different brush.
  • What is up with the socks?
Sockdrawer is a place where every sock belongs. Maybe it's where you lost your sock, maybe you are looking for your match, maybe you are the stray sock. The Sockdrawer is filled with infinite possibilities and infinite meanings. One thing we know for sure: no sock can resist heavy bass lines and good vibes. We are on a mission to find all of our missing socks, and we need your help!
  • How much does it cost?
Tickets to the burn are $575 plus fees and $150 for a parking pass. There are low income and other ticket options as well. Check out this link for more ticket info. Camp dues are $300 per person. To camp with us you MUST have an official Burning Man ticket, and have PAID our camp dues.
  • What are camp dues?
Camp dues are $300 per person. Camp dues are what is costs per person each year to bring our project to life. Everyone is required to pay dues to participate in our camp (including our camp leads!) *If finances are an issue, or there are concerns about the cost - please email us at sockdrawerevents@gmail.com
  • I'm not an artist, will I still be able to participate?
Our camp has many needs to keep it running smoothly! Participation can be helping us build, joining in a workshop, greeting dusty travelers, or just hanging out and enjoying yourself. Crack a beer, highfive our artists, or just enjoy the music! If you are about us, we are about you!
